The fourth time.
This is, repeat, the FOURTH time.
To recap - The power steering on my '99 Taurus SE is out, yet again.. Yes, for the fourth time. The first time it happened, my usual repairman merely purged the system and added fluid to it.. It worked again, for a couple weeks. Second, he replaced the pump and seals.. It worked for a few weeks. Third time, he fucked up the second time, and air got in the system, so he purged it for free.
And now, the power steering is out, yet again. I've done a bit of research and found quite a few people with the same exact problem I'm having, and am completely at a loss. I have no income, thus I can't spend money to fix it, and I don't borrow money. That's just something I won't, I repeat, WILL NOT do, thus that's not an option.. So, until I can get some money out of my stocks, I can't go anywhere, stuck at home. -.-
The fourth time.. Damn, I'm wondering if that "deal" really was a deal at all.. I mean, $3,000 is a sweet deal for a used car this good.. But then, is it really that good if the power steering keeps going out every couple weeks?.. Meh.
